Aight tomorrow I head back to the Creek for the summer.  I can't wait.  I still haven't finished packing yet, and I have to be out there in about 12 hours.  Oh well.  If you want to get a hold of me you can call the cell and I'll get back to you with in 24 hours, or you can send me mail...

A Godward Life : Savoring the Supremacy of God in All of Life

"O God you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water."  Psalms 63:1

What a thirst!  What a longing!  This verse really hit me pretty hard today.  Just thinking about what it would be like to be in a dry and weary land and not have any water.  I've never been that thirsty in my life.  I only know a small fraction of what it would be like to be that thirsty.  Yet David, I'm sure, knew that thirst from when he was running for his life from Saul, or after being in battle for days.  I just can't imagine.  And then David goes and compares that desperate need, not want but need, for water to the longing he has for God.  So often I don't even thirst for God as much as I do water right after I have had a drink.

It's that time of year again.  The time when I am reminded how much better the rest of the world is at soccer. Yup it's intermural soccer season again.  First game against the a group of international students ending 7-1, no we didn't win.  Oh well...not bad considering we never had really played together, and half the team has never played competitive soccer, and the fact that I might be the person in the best shape on the team (scarey thought).  Well at least we didn't get shut out and we had a great percentage of shots on goal, I think we only took 5 and 3 were on goal.  Wed. we get get destroyed....I mean play the Africa United team.

Other then things are going pretty good.  Got to spend all day Saturday at the Creek, seeing what it's like from the other side of things, as a paying customer.  That's about all I got I need a shower, and I wanna go watch the NCAA Championship.

I can't remember the last time I pulled an all nighter before a test.  I'm not actually sure I ever have before, but I really feel ready for my PSY test today.  If you get a minute feel free to lift me up a prayer on that, and on the day period considering I prolly won't get to bed til after midnight tonight.
